Horse Watch equips riders with training and branded clothing and organises patrols in areas that police find difficult to access.  Whilst out riding on country roads or tracks our Horse Watch members can look out for suspicious activity.  Horse Watch is a great scheme to join Bedfordshire Police with communities in the countryside.

 

Horse Riders are in a unique position to be able to go off-road to locations that police vehicles cannot go and then alert the police to any fly tipping, off-road bikes and anti-social behaviour.  Members of Horse Watch are our eyes and ears on the bridlepaths of Bedfordshire.

 

To join Horse Watch you need to be an accomplished rider who either owns your own horse or has access to a horse.  For further enquiries please contact WatchSchemes@beds.police.uk
